Specialized Helicopter Technical Training Now Available in the Region

HTIGLOBAL is proud to announce the opening of its Panama Training Center, a major milestone in our mission to deliver world-class helicopter technical training across Latin America and beyond.
This expansion strengthens HTIGLOBAL’s regional presence and provides operators, maintenance organizations, and technicians with direct access to high-quality, FAA-approved, industry-driven training delivered locally by experienced aviation professionals.

A Strong Start in Panama

In January, HTIGLOBAL successfully trained 22 aviation technicians through two highly specialized maintenance programs:
MD 500 C/D Field Maintenance
Rolls-Royce 250-C20 Heavy Maintenance
These inaugural courses mark the beginning of a long-term commitment to supporting helicopter operators with reliable, compliant, and practical maintenance training tailored to real operational needs. These courses were also recognized by the Aeronautica Civil of Panama

Ongoing Training Throughout the Year
This milestone is only the beginning. HTIGLOBAL is actively preparing to deliver additional courses starting in February and continuously throughout the year, reinforcing our objective to elevate maintenance standards and technical competency across Latin America and international markets.
We are also pleased to confirm that HTIGLOBAL is now officially registered in Panama as a business, further demonstrating our long-term vision and commitment to the region.

2026 Training Overview

In 2026, HTI Global officially launched its training activities in Panama with two specialized maintenance courses, representing a significant milestone in our organizational growth and regional expansion.
Courses Delivered in Early 2026

MD 500 C/D/F Initial Maintenance Course

This course provides technicians with a solid theoretical and practical foundation on the MD 500 helicopter C&D series.
Key training areas include:

• Aircraft general familiarization
• Powerplant and drivetrain overview
• Electrical and avionics interfaces
• Maintenance practices in accordance with OEM documentation and international aviation standards

Rolls-Royce 250-C20 Heavy Maintenance Course

This advanced program focuses on heavy maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of the Rolls-Royce 250-C20 engine series.

• Disassembly and reassembly procedures
